Furby Fun Time Handheld Game
Furby, the popular toy of the late 90s, found new life in the form of a handheld game - “Furby Handheld Game.” This unique device combines elements of the classic Furby toy with an interactive gaming experience.

History and Development
Developed and released by Tiger Electronics in 2000, this game was one of the first attempts to translate the Furby concept into a video game format. The handheld Furby game was created to expand the brand’s popularity and offer fans a new way to interact with their favorite character.
Device Features
The device is compact and fits comfortably in hand. On the front panel, there are control buttons that mimic Furby body parts, such as paw buttons and a tummy button. Additionally, the device has a pull-out cord handle that activates Furby’s eye and mouth movements.
Gameplay
Players control Furby, collecting “Me Love You” hearts, avoiding creature attacks, and jumping on them to score points. The game consists of 5 levels, the last of which has players defeating the main antagonist — King Squint, who drives a snowmobile. Collecting a certain number of points earns players a special game ending.
Characters and Enemies
The main character is Furby, controlled by the player. The game also features various creatures: Flutter Byes, Inchyworms, Gondras, and others. Special attention is given to Squints — technologically advanced creatures seeking to conquer Furbyland.
Squints
Squints want to conquer Furbyland. They appear intelligent and technologically advanced. They ride snowmobiles and cloud machines, and also have snowball launchers. Some cloud machines can summon lightning and tornadoes.
Flutter Byes and Inchyworms
Inchyworms are the larvae of Flutter Byes. Flutter Byes resemble butterflies and will swarm on Furby. If a worm isn’t killed, it will split into two worms and immediately enter the pupal stage, forming cocoons. Then two Flutter Byes hatch from the cocoons.
Turtle-like creatures called Gondras
Gondras attack Furby. They can also get nervous and start laying eggs. Their eggs explode when thrown.
Wispy and Drippy
Wispy and Drippy are cloud creatures. Wispy is formed from Furbyland’s “magic clouds.” Drippy is formed from another cloud made of droplets and has the ability to produce a big splash of water.
Tornado
Tornadoes are summoned by Squints on special snowmobiles. They have little eyes.
Conclusion
Furby Handheld Game is not just a game but a whole world of adventures that helps expand the perception of the famous Furby toy. Offering interactive gameplay and original characters, this handheld game became a significant addition to Furby culture and continues to attract new fans of these fun creatures.
