Furby Minis

Furby Minis are collectible mini-figures from the Hey Furby lineup. They are similar to Shopkins and are sold in blind bags containing 2 figures or in Amazon-exclusive 12-packs.

Appearance

Furby Minis come in various shapes and designs. Their eyes are lenticular (like Furby Furblings and Party Rockers) — when tilted, the expression changes: stars, hearts, sparkles, and other effects appear. Each figure has a clip on the back of its head for attaching to necklaces or using as a keychain.

Six figures from each series have an elongated body — these are DJ minis, representing DJ Furby and DJ Furblets.

Series 1: Party and Food

Series 1 is divided into two themes: Party and Food.

Regular figures (6 pcs.): minis with various patterns — sprinkles, balloons, stars, zigzags

Item figures (12 pcs.): boombox, gift, chips, disco ball, pizza, ice cream, pinata, donut, slushie, cake, camera, burger

DJ minis (6 pcs.): elongated figures with patterns — pizza, chocolate ice cream, starry sky, dance floor, rainbow, cupcake

Series 2: Fashion and Beauty

Series 2 is themed around fashion and cosmetics.

Regular figures (7 pcs.): gray, pink, teal with floral pattern, black-purple, and salmon — with glittery and translucent fur. Unlike Series 1, they have tinsel in their hair (like Gold Glam Hey Furby)

Item figures (12 pcs.): mirror, perfume, cosmetics bag, soap, powder, conditioner, brush, lipstick, nail polish, shampoo, handbag, hair dryer

DJ minis (5 pcs.): glittery pink, translucent pink, gold, purple, silver

Fun Facts

• First spotted on the ACD Distribution distributor website along with other Furby products
• The images on the packaging are 3D models rather than photos of actual figures (unusual for the lineup)
• Each figure has a hexagonal hole on the bottom — its purpose is unknown. It was thought to be used as a pencil topper, but regular pencils don’t fit
• Illustrations and 3D models contain inaccuracies — for example, the cake has a candle in the illustration but not on the actual figure
• When DJ Furby was released, the 12-pack Minis listing on Amazon accidentally updated its photos, revealing unannounced DJ Minis
• Series 2 introduced a new figure type — the Oddbody Mini (unusually shaped)
• Series 2 has only 5 DJ minis instead of 6, but 7 regular figures instead of 6
• The Flower Patterned Teal Mini is sold in different pairs in blind bags and the Amazon Pack, forcing collectors to buy duplicates
