Interactive Yoda

Author: Lavsky |

Interactive Yoda is one of several Furby friends produced by the company, capable of interacting like Furby and with each other. It used the same technology as Furby and was featured on the Tiger Electronics website as an upcoming toy.

About the Toy

Yoda was not conceived as part of the Furby lineup but used similar technologies. In September 1999, the release of Interactive Yoda was announced, but due to earthquakes that damaged chip manufacturing factories, the release was postponed to November. Although Tiger Electronics planned to release some units in November and December of that year, this did not happen. Eventually, on June 8, 2000, the Tiger Electronics website announced the release date of Interactive Yoda — June 14, 2000. The toy was released together with a lightsaber, powered by three AA or LR6 batteries.
