Fresh New Look

“Fresh New Look” Furbys, also known as Color Change Furbys, are updated versions of the original Furbys with minor changes in appearance. These changes were introduced during a period of declining Furby popularity in mid-2001. Manufacturers used already existing parts from various Furby color schemes, such as belly fur, eyelids, eyelashes, and face plates, to create these new versions. They were sold with a “Fresh New Look!” sticker on the boxes, even if the Furby had no actual changes.

Some modified “Fresh New Look” Furbys have the code “C015A” instead of the usual two-letter factory designation on their bases. “Cxxx” codes with different letters at the end are commonly found in serial numbers inside the battery compartments of 1998 Furbys and on their boxes, and appear to correspond to standard factory identifiers.

“Fresh New Look” Furbys often received unofficial names from fans, such as Sunrise Furby and Magic 8 Ball Furby. Furby Babies were also sold under the “Fresh New Look” label.

Furby Babies

Greek and English Furby Babies were also sold with the “Fresh New Look” sticker. However, no Furby Baby is known to have been created from parts of other Furby Babies under this label. Some Furby Babies have base markings longer than two characters.
