DJ Furby is part of the Hey Furby lineup (fifth generation of Furby). It is an unusual Furby with an elongated body, inspired by the Long Furby internet trend where people modified their Furbys by extending their bodies. DJ Furby has a movable beak (the first since Furby Connect), LED belly lighting, and numerous musical features.
Release
DJ Furby was first mentioned at the 2025 American International Toy Fair. On June 17, both variants became available for pre-order on Amazon US. Rainbow DJ Furby appeared on Entertainment Earth on June 21, on Walmart US on June 23, and even earlier accidentally appeared on Smyths Toys shelves. The official retail release was on July 15.
Versions in other languages were released around the same timeframe: French on June 17, German on July 9, Spanish on July 12.
Production of the Rainbow DJ Furby was halted around July 2025, and on March 10, 2026, this version was officially discontinued. Neon Star DJ Furby remains available.
Appearance
DJ Furby resembles Hey Furby but with an elongated body. It is smaller than other fifth-generation Furbys. It has a face plate with two large eyes, a heart stone, and a movable beak. Two pairs of fabric paws (like the original 1998 Furby and the 2012 Furby). Small plastic ears, a fluffy tail at the end of the body, and LED belly lighting.
This is the first full-size fifth-generation Furby without light-up ears and heart — instead, the belly lights up.
